The strategic partnership between Sakcable and Georgian Technical University has been renewed. The memorandum was signed by Sakcable’s Managing Director, David Kapanadze, and the Vice-Rector of Georgian Technical University, Professor Tamar Tsereteli.
The memorandum aims to promote student internships, employment opportunities, and the development of professional skills. Notably, within the framework of the renewed partnership and with the goal of increasing access to education and encouraging talented young people, Sakcable will introduce a scholarship program.
“Supporting education is one of Sakcable’s strategic priorities. Through our successful partnership with Georgian Technical University, many students have already been given the opportunity to develop their professional skills in a real working environment, gain hands-on experience, and secure employment at Sakcable’s manufacturing facilities. As part of the renewed cooperation, a Sakcable-named scholarship will now be established for high-achieving students of Georgian Technical University. We are pleased to have the opportunity to support the education, professional development, and career growth of talented young people. We believe that, through this collaboration, many young individuals will become qualified professionals and contribute to the development of our country through their work,” said David Kapanadze, Managing Director of Sakcable.
“For Georgian Technical University, one of the top priorities is enhancing the competitiveness of our graduates in the labor market. Sakcable is one of the leading companies in the country, and cooperation with such a partner offers students a unique opportunity. Within the framework of the memorandum, young people will be able to complete industrial internships directly at the factory, become familiar with modern technological processes, and, most importantly, successful students will have real employment prospects. Engineering education is inconceivable without a strong practical foundation, and Sakcable is precisely the partner that can enrich the academic process with real industrial experience. Through joint efforts, we will be able to train highly qualified engineers and technologists who will not only meet the demands of the local market but also contribute to the country’s economic development,” said Professor Tamar Tsereteli, Vice-Rector of Georgian Technical University.
