Leading Georgian cable manufacturer Sakcable continues to drive innovation in the industry. This time, the company has expanded its production line with a completely new product for the local market – sector-shaped cables, manufactured in compliance with international standards and already successfully exported to the European Union.
These cables are distinguished by their sector-shaped conductors and insulation, making the product more compact and simplifying the installation process. Sakcable currently produces sector-type versions of six well-known cable types on the local market: copper installation cables (NYY, N2XY), aluminum installation cables (NAYY, NA2XY), and halogen-free cables (N2XH, NA2XH), which are flame-retardant and reduce smoke emission.
It is worth noting that Sakcable has been exporting cable products since 2010. In 2023, the company’s products entered EU member states, followed by expansion into the Middle East and South American markets.
“The production of cables with sector-shaped conductors represents another important milestone in Sakcable’s continuous development. We are proud to be the first Georgian company to manufacture this product in full compliance with international standards. Sector cables produced by Sakcable fully meet the demands of modern industrial and infrastructure projects and are already being successfully used in the European market. This is yet another confirmation of the trust placed in us by our international partners. We take pride not only in contributing to the development of the local cable industry, but also in strengthening the country’s export potential,”
– David Kapanadze, Managing Director of Sakcable.
