As part of the partnership between Sakcable and the Georgian Technical University, a working meeting was held with students of the Faculty of Energy. The purpose of the meeting was to support students’ career orientation and promote the development of their professional skills.

Participants received detailed information about Sakcable’s operations, gained insights into current trends in the energy sector and industry demands, and learned about employment opportunities. The event was conducted in an interactive format and included a discussion session, during which students asked questions and received practical recommendations.

“It is important for us that students have direct exposure to the real industry while still in the learning process – that they understand current trends, market demands, and the skills necessary for success. Meetings like this give us the opportunity to share practical experience and help them make more informed career choices,” said Sakcable’s Managing Director, David Kapanadze.

“The energy sector is constantly evolving, and today it is especially important for students to be informed, already during their studies, about industry trends, technological innovations, and employment opportunities. Such meetings strengthen the connection between academia and business and provide students with a realistic understanding of their future profession,” said Professor Ketevan Kutateladze.

“Our goal is to create opportunities for students to stay as close as possible to a real working environment during their studies. Meetings like this not only deepen knowledge but also contribute to shaping professional orientation. Active collaboration with the private sector helps students better understand their capabilities and define their future career paths,” said Associate Professor Nato Katamadze.
