Sakcable, a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical cables, announces that its NAYY power cable range has successfully received quality certification from TÜV Austria, one of Europe’s most respected independent testing and certification bodies.
Following comprehensive laboratory testing and technical evaluation, TÜV Austria has confirmed that Sakcable’s NAYY power cables fully comply with the requirements of the IEC 60502-1:2021 standard, which defines performance, safety, and reliability criteria for power cables with extruded insulation for rated voltages up to 1 kV.
The certification process assessed critical parameters including electrical performance, insulation integrity, mechanical strength, and overall product consistency. The positive test results validate that Sakcable’s NAYY cables meet internationally recognized quality and safety benchmarks for low-voltage power distribution applications.
“The conformity certificate awarded by the independent certification body TÜV Austria further strengthens Sakcable’s position as a key player in the global cable industry. Sakcable’s Georgian-made products, manufactured in line with international quality standards, are already used across three continents – Europe, Asia, and South America. We are proud to have the opportunity to support a wide range of projects both in Georgia and beyond with high-quality cable products manufactured in Georgia. By focusing on innovation and superior quality, we continue to develop the local cable industry and offer our customers cable solutions that meet international standards,” said Davit Kapanadze, Managing Director of Sakcable.
