Sakcable, the leading company in Georgia’s cable industry, is strengthening its partnership with the Georgian Solar Energy Association (GSEA). Through this collaboration, Sakcable will further support the development of Georgia’s solar energy sector and contribute to building a sustainable future by providing high-quality cable solutions.

GSEA’s main mission is to promote the development of solar energy and related technologies by raising public awareness and fostering active cooperation with private and public institutions.

“Supporting solar energy has been one of Sakcable’s priority directions for several years now. Within this framework, we have been successfully collaborating with EPC companies and industry representatives. We are pleased that our partnership with GSEA gives us the opportunity to contribute even more actively to the development of solar energy infrastructure in Georgia. Our goal remains unchanged – to support projects that benefit both the environment and the country’s energy future through high-quality cable solutions,” Sakcable stated.

“The membership of strong companies like Sakcable is especially important for the association, as they help establish high-quality standards within the sector, foster the development of a reliable professional network, and create a healthy competitive environment. Key industry players are uniting around a shared goal – to ensure the fast, transparent, and sustainable development of the solar energy sector in Georgia. Such members strengthen the association both professionally and reputationally, ultimately bringing greater benefits to the entire sector and society,” the Georgian Solar Energy Association said in its statement.

For reference: Since 2023, Sakcable has been producing H1Z2Z2-K solar cables used in residential, commercial, and industrial solar energy projects. The products are manufactured in compliance with EN 50618:2014 and IEC 62930:2017 standards and are certified for safety and quality by international certification body TÜV Nord and the Czech Electrotechnical Testing Institute.

In 2022, a 500 kW solar power plant was installed on the rooftops of buildings at the Sakcable production facility in Zestaponi, and its generation fully supports the company’s manufacturing processes.
