Sakcable’s Fire-Resistant Cables Receive Quality Certificates from the Czech Electrotechnical Testing Institute

Sakcable’s products have been awarded quality certificates by one of the most respected certification bodies for electrotechnical products in Europe. The Czech Electrotechnical Testing Institute (EZÚ) issued international certificates confirming the quality of Sakcable’s fire-resistant, halogen-free cables.

After two months of intensive testing, EZÚ confirmed that Sakcable’s NA2XH cable complies with the international IEC 60502-1:2022 standard. In EZÚ’s state-of-the-art laboratory, the cable underwent assessment on key criteria such as the electrical and mechanical properties of insulation materials, conductor resistance, voltage withstand capacity, smoke density, etc. Additional tests were conducted on halogen content, gas emissions during combustion, and vertical flame propagation, all of which demonstrated full compliance with international standards.

Notably, Sakcable’s N2XH cable also successfully passed conformity testing with the EU’s Construction Products Regulation (CPR). EZÚ verified the product’s safety and reliability, making it eligible for use across the European Union.

“We are proud that our products have once again received international recognition, reaffirming Sakcable’s commitment to the highest quality and global standards. For several years now, our factory has operated an accredited quality control laboratory where every product is thoroughly tested before reaching the market. Certification by EZÚ further strengthens our position internationally and supports Sakcable’s role as a leading player in the global market. We’re pleased to contribute to projects both large and small – in Georgia and beyond – with our certified solutions,” said David Kapanadze, Managing Director of Sakcable.

About the Products:
NA2XH and N2XH are fire-resistant, halogen-free cables widely used in high-traffic and industrial facilities such as hotels, schools, and factories. These products are distinguished by their exceptionally low smoke emission, which significantly reduces the risk of fatal outcomes in the event of a fire.

Company Background:
