Georgia’s leading cable manufacturer, Sakcable, has once again expanded its export network, this time delivering its products to Kazakhstan.
Sakcable has been engaged in export activities since 2010. In 2023, the company’s products entered European Union markets for the first time, followed by exports to the Middle East and South America.
“With its rapidly developing infrastructure and energy sector, Kazakhstan represents one of our important export destinations and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the country’s development with Sakcable’s internationally certified, high-quality products. We are delighted that our first export shipment to Kazakhstan’s largest city, Almaty, has been successfully completed. This transaction marks another important step forward in our export strategy and further strengthens Sakcable’s position in international markets,” said David Kapanadze, Managing Director of Sakcable.
The first shipment to Kazakhstan included NAYY-type aluminum power cables, which are widely used for power transmission and distribution in buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities.
Expanding into international markets is one of the key priorities of Sakcable’s long-term development strategy. The company continues to explore new markets with the goal of making high-quality, Georgian-made electrical products even more recognized worldwide.
Sakcable has held its leading position in Georgia’s cable industry for 67 years, offering customers a portfolio of nearly 2,000 products related to both cabling and electrical installation. Every Sakcable product, whether destined for the local or international market, undergoes detailed testing at the company’s accredited in-house quality control laboratory before being delivered to customers.
