The products of Sakcable, a leading company in Georgia’s cable industry, have once again received international recognition. The authoritative European certification body for electrotechnical products, EZÚ, has awarded an international certificate of quality and compliance to Sakcable’s self-supporting ABC cable.
This product is used in main overhead transmission lines and in branches supplying residential and utility buildings. Unlike standard cables used for overhead transmission lines, this cable features an insulation compound with added UV stabilizers, making it highly resistant to ultraviolet exposure and offering improved thermal performance.
The ABC cable underwent comprehensive testing at the Czech Electrotechnical Testing Institute laboratory. The process included the evaluation of the cable’s structural dimensions, compliance of markings, types and colors of materials. In addition, the lab conducted an in-depth analysis of the cable’s electro-mechanical properties, including: conductor resistance, technical carbon content, high-voltage resistance, and more.
The tests reaffirmed that Sakcable’s ABC cable meets European standards and delivers reliable, uninterrupted power to populated areas via overhead transmission lines.
